The family of Gunners Mate Chief William Wyrick Kapun has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

GMC Kapun, 31, served his country in the US Navy.   He had been deployed to the Middle East and was a veteran of the Global War on Terror.

GMC Kapun is survived by his wife, 3 children, and a loving family.

The family has requested an accompaniment from Legacy Funeral Care to Murphy Canyon Chapel where there will be a mass followed by Military Honors.  There will be motor escorts for the 13-mile accompaniment.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero from the mortuary to a chapel service. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the chapel, we will meet you there.
