This is Part 2 of a 2 part mission.

The family of ETN1 Walter James Torres Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his final Military Honors. It will be our honor and privilege to do so.

Walter graduated from Calvary Chapel High School in Murrieta, CA as Salutatorian in June, 2007. He was selected to attend the United States Naval Academy, but declined the appointment, instead, he chose to enlist in the United States Navy, serving as an ordinary sailor.

After boot camp, Walter attended several schools, including Nuclear Power School and Submarine School. He served on the USS La Jolla SSN-701, completing two war patrols and then was transferred to the USS San Francisco SSN-711.

Petty Officer Torres Jr. dedicated his life to God. He led the church youth group and the church's volunteer ministry.

Walter is survived by a large extended family.
