The family of George A. Martinez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to this country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

George Martinez, 94, was born on  September 26, 1923 and passed away June 20, 2018.

George proudly served this country in the U.S. Army Air Force from 19 February, 1943 until his honorably discharge on 22 February, 1946, during World War II.  He had earned the rank of Tech Sergeant at the time of discharge.

After his service, George continued to serve our country as a Strategic and Tactical Advisor to three presidents.  Particularly notable during the Vietnam conflict, he did extensive research in the methodology required to expose and eliminate the Viet Cong safe havens scattered throughout the country of Vietnam.

George had a passion for discovering solutions to Global Warming. As a scientist, he looked towards our oceans for answers.

George leaves behind a brother and sister, Harold Martinez and Isabel Hangsleben, numerous nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and nephews.
