This is Part 1 of a 2 part mission. Part 2 has been posted here. The family of
PV2 Rommel Tanedo has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
PV2 Tanedo, 24, was serving in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was a Motor Transport Operator (88M) at the time of his passing.
PV2 Tanedo will be returned from North Carolina to his hometown of San Diego on Thursday, 5 JULY. We will meet his incoming flight at San Diego Airport and accompany him to El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Airport to El Camino Memorial Park. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
Note: The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

PV2 Rommel Tanedo 10/28/1993 - 6/25/2018 You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
