The family of Sergeant Christopher Allen Truax Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Sgt Christopher “Chris” Truax Jr., 21, served his country in the US Marine Corps from 2014 to 2018.  He was a Food Service Specialist assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego.  Sadly, this young Marine whose dream was to become a Drill Instructor, was shot and killed in San Diego.  An investigation is ongoing.

Chris is survived by his parents, his wife and his 1-year-old son.

The family has invited the PGR to accompany this hero from the mortuary to the airport for his final journey to his home state of New York.  The PGR will be there upon his arrival in NY and accompany him to the mortuary there and be present again as he receives his Final Honors.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero from the mortuary to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
