The family of Lloyd Silas Peak has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Loyd served in the US Army from Apr '51 to Apr '53. He served in Korea with the Signal Corp., as a radio repairman and a Chaplains Assistant. He received the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star and the United Nations Service Medal.

After his service he became a Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Mira Costa College in Oceanside.

Loyd is survived by his two sons. Rev Clayton Peak and Dr. Sheldon Peak

The family has requested we accompany them from the mortuary in Vista to the cemetery in Oceanside (8mi).
