The Family of Michael "Mike" Curtis Berry has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his military service to this country. It will our honor to do so.

Michael Curtis Berry was born October 21, 1953 and passed on October 2, 2018. 

Mike joined the US Marine Corps in February 1971 and proudly served until February 1975. He served as a Motor Transport/Force Recon during Vietnam. Rank at time of honorable discharge was E-3 LCpl.

During Mike's civilian life, he became a truck driver for many years and later worked as a Security Chief. He loved building and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was a big Elvis fan.

Mike is survived by his wife Diana, sons Michael and Joseph, step daughter Cristy Byrant, brothers Curtis Anthony Berry, Dr. Mark Wayne Berry, Scott Jeffery Berry and sisters Sharon and Marlene.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary services to his final resting place, approx 11 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

1200 – KSU to assigned shelter for Flag Line, Service and Military Honors

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
