The family of Robert J. Davies has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.
Robert was born on June 6, 1933 and passed September 6, 2018. He was 85 years young when he passed.
He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years then served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years. His rank was CPO E-7 when he retired. He was in the Korean and Vietnam wars. During his service he received awards from the Army include Combat Infantry badge, Koran Serve medal with 2 bronze service stars and UN Service medal. His Naval awards include Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, Navy Commendation medal (3), Combat Action Ribbon, RVN Armed Forces Medal, NUC, Gallantry Cross, Navy “E” Ribbon, Good Conduct Award, and Navy Achievement Medals (2).
After Robert retired from the service, he was a Map Maker for the State of California. He owned his own business making and repairing golf clubs. During his younger years, he was an avid runner and competed in many ½ and full marathons. He loved the game of golf and played as often as he could and even traveled to St. Andrews to play.
His surviving family includes his wife Patsy, brother Thomas, son Robert, daughter Lisa, son-in-law Robert, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and one on the way.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
