The Patriot Guard Rider have the privilege and honor to be invited by the family of Charles Jr, Hartz to be present to honor this hero for his military service to this country. It will be our honor to do so.
Charles Jr, enlisted into the US ARMY in January 30,1969 and proudly served until Sept 1, 1971. during Vietnam ERA as Military Police . Charles was discharged as a SGT (E-5).
During his civilian life, Charles became a Police Officer for the city of La Habra,California. Charles served for 20 years. After his service with La Habra he became a security officer for NBC Universal for 20 yrs. Charles also enjoyed riding motorcycles and rode with Central Coast Cruiser club. He also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR.
Charles is survived by His Daughters Laura Karling and Lesley Hartz. also his son Matt Hartz.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and hos family from the chapel to his final resting place. Also please arrive quietly as services will be in progress.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
