The family of Richard "Tom" Myers Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard to participate in the accompaniment and services of their loved one and to honor this American Hero; we are honored to do so.
 
Mr. Myers joined the Marine Corps in 1972 and retired in 1992 reaching the rank of Gunny Sergeant.  Served in the embassies in India and Bangladesh after receiving his embassy training in Washington, DC.  Later on at Camp Pendleton and finally at Port Hueneme when he retired.  After his military career he worked in the aerospace industry.
 
"Tom" is survived by his wife Valerie, parents Richard, Sr and Carol; siblings Joanne (Robert), Charles, Nicholas, Catherine; children Ruth (Eric), Florence (Brent), Jonathan (Tiffany) and Richard III (Amy).  Seven grandchildren and extended family and friends.
 
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying our Hero from the Mortuary to the Church and to his final resting place for Military Honors on Thursday 06 March 2014.

0830 - KSU to mortuary for accompaniment to church.
 
0900 - KSU to St. Anthony's Catholic Church for flag line prior to service.
 
0930 - Church Service starts.

1100 - Flag line for Military Honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car.  If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car)
