NOTE CHANGE IN STAGING AREA LOCATION


The family of Samuel Kent Johns has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Memorial of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Samuel entered into Eternal Rest on 22 May 2019.

Samuel was a twenty year veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a submariner and nuclear engineer. Samuel retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO/E-9).

After his honorable discharge from the military Samuel was an Electrical Building Designer for Hospitals, Schools and high rise building and was also a real estate agent.

Samuel’s many hobbies included being a Sea Plane Pilot and Acrobatic Airplane Pilot. Samuel wrote music, played harmonica, guitar, trumpet and the piano. He was a golfer and loved to read suspense novels. 

Samuel is survived by his wife Brenda, his two children David and Tracy. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and two sisters, Allison and Julie. 

After the Memorial, the Hero will be transported by the family to Snowflake, Arizona where he will be laid to rest.

1445 – KSU to mobile home park

1500 – PGR Opening of Memorial Services with Military Honors. We will be the Navy and do Military Honors. I will bring the flag an bugle.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
