The family of Thomas Gallegos, age 67, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him on the day of his funeral service, we will be honored to do so.
Thomas Gallegos enlisted in the US Navy on November 1, 1971. He served in the Vietnam War on the CV-19 USS Hancock. He was an Engineman. He participated in the evacuation of Vietnam April-May, 1975. He was honorably discharged on October 31, 1975 at the rank of Petty Officer Second Class E-5.
After the military Thomas went to work at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow from which he eventually retired.
Thomas loved to ride his Harleys in his spare time and loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Susan, 6 daughters Michelle, Melissa, Margarita, Marebolna, Monica and Mandy, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Andrew and James, and sister Teresa.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
