MISSION RESCHEDULE DATE:  DUE TO THE RECENT FIRE THIS MISSION HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY 14, OCTOBER 1500HRS.

The family of Kenneth Charles Marks, age 61, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to this country. It is our honor and privilege to do so.

Ken was an 18 year old high school graduate from St. Louis, Missouri who joined the United States Marine Corps in January of 1976. In the Marines, Ken served as a Crypto Equipment Repairman and in January of 1980 he was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant (E-5).

Our Hero is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Christie Marks, and daughter, Candy. Ken will be joining another daughter awaiting him in heaven.

The Marks family was active in both the Elks community and the American Legion Post 507, Newhall Family.

This mission, in honor of our friend, Ken Marks, will consist of a Flag Line and PGR
presentation in the lower chapel at Eternal Valley. This will be at the conclusion of his Final Military Honors and presentation of our nation's flag. Following these honors we will be dismissed to allow the family and close friends to participate in Ken's viewing.

Ken is scheduled to be interred at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Tuesday October 15th in a private family committal.
