The family of Maria Yolanda Steinkirchner and The All American Riders, that her son rides with, have invited the Patriot Guard to attend in their loved ones final journey. It is our honor to do so.
Maria was 82 years young at the time of her passing. Maria served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. She attained the rank of Senior Master Sergeant at the time of her discharge. She also served in the Reserves and was called to active duty during Desert Storm. She went on to complete her service in the reserves in 1990 and retired.
After her active duty service to our country Maria worked in the in the Civilian Personnel Office at March Air Force Base. Maria also received her Masters Degree in History. She loved to travel and loved her mariachi music.
Maria’s husband Paul, also a USAF Vet, proceeded her in death. Maria is survived by her son Bill Steinkirchner, who is retired from the US Army, and his family, and a daughter Daniella Ferraro.
Maria was loved by many. We will honor her service to our country and ask that you honor her life by keeping her memory alive.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and her family from the mortuary to the cemetery (approximately 22 miles). Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
