The Family of Joshua Bachrach has invited the PGR to Honor him and it is a Honor and a privilege to do so.
Josh served in the US Army from 1997 through 2005. Josh began his career in the 82nd Airborne, an experience that stayed with him and defined his character. He conducted two tours of duty in the Middle East; Afghanistan and Iraq during the height of the crisis. He later achieved the rank of Sergeant with Combat Engineers. Medals, // Bronze Star, Army Commendation (5th Award) // Army Achievement Award, // Good Conduct (2nd award) // National Defense Service medal // Afghanistan Campaign // Iraq Campaign // Global War on Terrorism // Korea Defense // Non Commissioned Officer. He also was a member of American Legion 534 Orcutt California.
Josh was born in Oceanside, April 19th 1974 and relocated with his family to Santa Maria in 1987. Josh attended Delta High School and Allan Hancock Community College. Josh died at home on May 28 due to heart failure; he was 46.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Shelly Bachrach and his daughters Alyssa and Ashley Bachrach; his brother Eric Bachrach, mother and step-father Tim and Darlene Woodbury, of Santa Maria; his father James Bachrach of Encinitas, CA; grandmothers Marilyn Heisterman and Norma Bussey; and, his niece and nephews, Erica, Brad and Carter Bachrach.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
