The family of Georgia Jeanine Higgins, 88, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for her service to her country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Georgia joined the US Air Force in March 1950, and was honorably discharged in July 1951. She was a teletype operator at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Wy. She made no deployments. She earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

After leaving the Air Force Georgia went to work for Sheriff Pierson in Latah County, Idaho. Then she went  to work for the San Diego County District Attorney. She was a Mom & a Homemaker. Georgia's hobbies were singing with the Episcopal Church Choir, doing New York Times crosswords, watching Football, & traveling.

Georgia was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert Bruce Higgins, US Air Force Ret.  A special note, the Patriot Guard Riders was there when we accompanied him to Miramar National Cemetery 2 years ago.
