The family of Pfc Brian J. Baltierra, age 18, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the arrival of their Hero as he comes home to his family for his funeral, we will be honored to do so.
Pfc Brian Baltierra was serving with the US Marine Corps and currently assigned to Bravo Company, BLT 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) when he sadly perished with other Marine brothers during a training accident aboard an Amphibious Vehicle that went down off the coast of So California on July 30, 2020. He died on the 1 year anniversary of his enlistment in the Corps. He was preparing for his first deployment which he was really excited about, he had been training during that first year to be ready for it.
As a young boy, Baltierra aspired to join the military. He made it a reality in 2019 after graduating in June from Centennial High School in Corona. He was just 17 when he entered the Marine Corps and turned 18 finishing boot camp, where he earned the eagle, globe, and anchor — the official emblem and insignia that meant he was a U.S. Marine.
Brian radiated positivity — primarily through his engaging smile — and was a hit with everyone he met, his mother said. “There were always lots of smiles and laughs with whomever he was with.” He relished paintball and going to concerts. He loved eating at Panda Express and listened to old-school Rhythm and Blues. Despite being at Camp Pendleton, the young Marine remained in close contact with his family. On a group chat, texts, and Snapchat, he shared his Marine Corps adventures. He was last with his family on July 12, when he spent the weekend.
Pfc Baltierra is survived by his mother and father, two sisters and many other family members and friends, and his brotherhood of Marines. He will be missed by all who knew him and never forgotten.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the airport to the funeral home, approx 16 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. If you prefer to meet the procession at the funeral home please feel free to do so.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes
before leaving.
You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
