The family of Salvador Enriquez Velasquez has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Sal was born in Los Angeles on 05 January 1947 and entered into Eternal Rest on 14 August 2020. Sal succumbed to ALS(Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and considered service-connected.

Sal was in the U.S. Army from May 1965 to April 1968 during the Vietnam War. Sal’s awards/citations included the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Sal was a Truck Driver (Heavy) while in the Army and was honorably discharged as a Specialist 5 (T) E-5.

Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Sal worked for the California Youth Authority/Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for over thirty years. After retirement from that job he worked at the Aquarius Casino in Laughlin for seven years as a security guard and at Burke’s Retail Store in Laughlin as an associate.

Sal loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit Fiji, London, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Italy, New Orleans, and all the Hawaiian Islands except for the main island.

Sal is survived by his wife Angelica, son Jeffery and daughter Jeannette. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
