UPDATE!! TIME CHANGE - MOST TIMES HAVE BEEN MOVED 1 HR LATER BELOW !!!The family of EOD3 Ryan Alexander Bannon, age 26, and the US Navy have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero for his funeral service, and accompany him to his final resting place, we will be honored to do so.
EOD3 Ryan Bannon grew up in Temecula, California. Shortly after graduating High School Ryan enlisted in the US Navy in 2012 and served as a Personnel Specialist aboard the USS Anchorage. After time in the fleet, Ryan graduated EOD school in 2018 and was stationed at EODMU11 in Imperial Beach, CA, where he quickly excelled. Ryan pursued every qualification he could, maintained a high level of fitness, and easily distinguished himself as the person leadership could count on to complete any job that was asked of him.
Among his peers, Ryan was known for his humor, his exercise regimen (which he was often harassed about by his platoon mates), and his unstoppable work ethic.
Sadly, Ryan was on his way home after work when he was involved in an accident on his motorcycle that took his life. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Family, friends and shipmates.
Ryan is survived by his wife Kayla, and many other family members.
