The family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present and accompany their hero, Luis Morales, from Rosamond to Riverside National Cemetery. We are honored to do so.
PFC Luis Morales served in the the U.S Marine Corps from Feb 13, 2001 until Feb 12, 2005 at which time he was honorably discharged. After his discharge Luis served in the Army National Guard in Los Alamitos from 2006 until 2014.
While riding his Harley to work Luis collided with a car that crossed in the path due to distracted driving.
Luis work at BYD in Lancaster and he had just received a promotion to the engineering dept. Luis' hobbies included coaching his two boys ages 7 and 11, and his daughter age 12, in football and soccer. He also loved watching any movies related to the military.
Luis is survived by his wife Christina and his three children and a loving family.
Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome. We will be accompanying the hero and his family from the family home to Riverside National Cemetery. This is a distance of 100 miles and involves freeway changes. So please have your bikes/cages fully gassed and ready to ride. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.

USMC..You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
