The family of Judy Ann Johnson, 72, invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved one's funeral services. Judy was one of our own, a PGR member. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Judy was born in West Hollywood, CA. On December 20, 1947. In 1961 Judy and her family moved to Fullerton and she graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1966. In 1976 Judy married the love of her life, Ronald. In December of this year they would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. During that 44 yrs Judy and Ron raised 3 sons, Mike, Ryan and David.
Judy was born to volunteer and serve her community. She had a special place in her heart for our military and joined the Patriot Guard Riders in 2006. Her father, Jack, was in the Marine Corps during WWII and was present when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Her son, David, served in the Marine Corps and was in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Judy has assisted many military families with funerals for their fallen heroes.
She volunteered at the Ontario and John Wayne Airports USO's. She co-chaired Moms of Military Prayer and Support Group, and Veterans Group, Calvary Chapel East Anaheim. If that wasn't enough, Judy was an advocate for students and volunteered on various committees in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
Judy had the gift of hospitality and loved the holidays, planning dinners and get-togethers with family and friends. Judy worked for several years at Disneyland in their personnel department. After retirement, she thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and taking group motorhome trips with family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Mike, Ryan and David; brother, Gary; sisters, Windy and Terry, six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy will be truly missed.

Blessed are the PeacemakersYou do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
