The family of James Donald Morgan has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral and final Military Honors. It will be our honor and privilege to do so.
James was born in Oakley, Illinois and was one of eleven children that grew up on a farm. His family moved to Los Angeles in 1947 where he met his future wife.
James joined the United States Army in 1953, serving during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1955 with the rank of Private First Class.
Following his military service, James worked in the Banking Industry for 38 years. Upon retirement, James enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He loved to read, travel, fish and watching sports.
