The family of Attila Lesley Juhasz, 59, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present and honor this Army Veteran from the 101st Airborne for his service to his Country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Attila was born in Toronto , Canada on Feb. 28, 1955. Attila spent 42 yrs of his life growing up in Burbank, Calif.
Growing up he was always a handy kid turning into quite the Mr. Fix it kind of guy. He would help everyone in the neighborhood and later on learned that working on cars, and bikes wasn't much of a step up from what he had always done.
He always was quite family oriented so after graduating Burbank High School at the age of 17 he decided to be like his Dad. His Dad had served his Country in the Royal Hungarian Army during WWII and became an officer. Attila decided to fight for his Country so he joined the United States Army. Later on he became part of the elite 101st Airborne. He was always very proud of his Hungarian heritage, but also proud to be an American.
Attila was Honorable discharged on Feb. 28, 1978 at the rank of PFC. after serving in the Army for 6 yrs.
Upon entering civilian life Attila became a stay at home Dad with their children: Son Attila Joseph, and Daughter Elizabeth.
Attila was always very active in all the kids schools and their many projects that had to be done. The 4 of them were a neat little unit that would never be separated. So this passing of their Dad and Husband is extremely hard on the family.
Attila had been very ill for the last 14 yrs. of his life. He fought very hard to hang on. His last 2 months were spent in the VA Hospital in Loma Linda.
Attila leaves behind his wife Eszter, son Attila Joseph 15, Daughter Elizabeth 11, Mother Catherine, and his younger brother Csaba
They also have 4 grandchildren
Note: There is a possibility we made need 6 pall bearers so be at the ready in case family asks.
