The family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present and accompany their hero, Edward Ybarra from Sacred Heart Church to Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster and we are honored to do so.

Edward Yabarra served in the the U.S. Air Force from 11967/1971 serving in Vietnam as an inventory management specialist stationed at Cam Rahm Bay He was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged as a SSgt.

Edward worked in several career fields after his service to his country. He sold real estate for many years. He also worked in the U.S. Postal Service as a mechanic and retired from there. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. His family meant everything to him and enjoyed spending all his free time with them.

Edward is survived by wife Noreen, 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Church to Joshua Memorial Park. This is a short escort on city streets.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
