The PGR has been invited by the family of Charley Wade Jordan, age 93, to honor this Hero by accompanying him to his final resting place it’s our privilege and honor to so.
Charley Jordan served in the US Army Air Corps from 1946 to 1969, achieving the rank of Tech Sergerant E-6 before his honorable discharge and retirement. He received the following Awards //Good Conduct Medal // Honorable Discharge // Bronze Clasp with 4 Loops // United Nations Medal // Air Force Longevity Service Award with 2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. He was assigned to the Army Air Corps as an aerial photographer in the Korean War. In 1950 the Air Corps became the US Air Force.
Charley Wade Jordan was born Christmas Day 1927. His father was a sharecropper in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
In 1952 he married Hatsuyo Suzuki (June Jordan). His second career was at ITT in security. He earned his master’s degree and retired as Chief of Security at Vandenberg Air Force Base, completing 23 years. After retiring unsuccessfully, June told him to get out of the house and go back to work. He began his favorite job as a greeter for Wal-Mart for 13 years. He and June, the love of his life, shared 55 years of marriage.
Charley is survived by his only two remaining siblings, Ruby Mills and Litti May Lewis, his sons Darvin Jordan and Greg Jordan, daughters Marsha Elliot, Ruth Gildea, and Debbie Morrison, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, all who mourn his passing.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
