The family of Jose “Lupe” Rodriguez Alfaro has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend services and Military Honors for their Hero; it is our honor to accept this invitation.
On Friday February 12, 2021 Jose “Lupe” Alfaro was called to sit beside the Lord in Heaven following a bout with Covid 19.
Lupe was born December 12, 1948 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and was drafted into the Army in 1969 serving as an automotive mechanic during the Viet Nam conflict until 1971 when he was honorably discharged. His career as an automotive mechanic spanned over 30 years following his service. On June 16, 1969, he met and married the love of his life, Antonia. Together they began raising a family of four, two sons and two daughters. Lupe was known to be a stoic person with an occasional fiery personality. To his wife he was a jokester and to his children he was their Hero, always there to pull them out of a jam. He was adored by his grandchildren and enjoyed spending many hours playing games with them and catering to their imaginations. One thing was always certain, he loved and cared for his family more than anything else in this world.
He is preceded in death by his Father Jose, survived by his loving wife Antonia and his four children, Wendy (Manuel), Cyndi (Saul), Steven (Eduardo) and Tony (Christina), his Mother Lucina, his six Grandchildren, Victor, Daniel, Marco, Dahlylah, Arianna and Dayleen, his five sisters Lina, Mary, Nellie, Lucy, Viki and Sandra, his one Brother Frank and 12 Nieces and Nephews.
