The family of Officer Heath Adams, 54, and the Los Angeles Police Dept have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero, we are privileged to do so.

Police Officer II + II Heath Adams was born 25 MAY 66 in Culver City, CA. Heath passed away, on 26 FEB 21, after a long, valiant fight against cancer.

Heath was appointed to the Los Angeles Police Department on 18 APR 94 and subsequently attained the coveted position as a motorcycle officer. Heath served the Los Angeles community for 27 years and was last assigned to the South Traffic Division. His designation as a Police Officer II + II is his official title as a motor officer.

Heath is survived by his loving wife, La Drena; sons, DeShawn and Trent; Daughter, Amari; father Harold and brother, Michael.

You do not have to be a Veteran or motorcycle rider to attend this mission.  All PGR members are welcome.  We encourage those who do not ride to attend in their car.  If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed by the Ride Captain (R/C).  Dress for motorcycle riding or casually if you are in a car (cage).  For the sanctity of the mission and out of respect for the hero and family, no shorts or other inappropriate attire.
