he family of Los Angeles Police Officer Jose Anzora, Serial No. 40828 and the Los Angeles Police Department invite the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved one's funeral services. We are honored to accept this invitation.
Officer Anzora was a 10 year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department assigned to Newton Area, Gang Enforcement Detail. He was known by his supervisors and peers as a hard working officer. He made less experienced officers feel at ease and always had a big infectious smile. He truly tried to make a difference in the community.
Officer Anzora's wife, Heather remembers Jose was so ready to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer.. He loved every minute of the job. He loved fishing, spontaneous adventures, getaways and those lazy days they spent together.
Sadly, on 03 MAR 21, while assisting fellow officers at the scene of a traffic accident he was struck by a vehicle and succumbed to his injuries.
Jose is survived by his wife, Heather; mother, Teresa and brothers, Nelson, Carlos and Marcopolo.
Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran. For those interested all PGR are welcome.
