The family of Mario Campusano Breceda has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany Mario on his journey to his final resting place.  It is our honor to do so.

Mario was born on 5 Mar 1945 and began his journey to Valhalla on 7 Mar 2021.

Mario served in the United States Army from 12/01/1965 - 09/10/1967.  He was part of the 3rd Battalion, 12th Infantry, which was a long-range reconnaissance “Apache” platoon.  He participated in approximately 35 missions in enemy held territory during his tour in Vietnam.  His death was not combat related although he was hit with Agent Orange.  Mario earned the rank of SP4 at the time of his honorable discharge.

After his service Mario worked for Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola for 20 years.  He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.  He also enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Even though Mario was divorced from his wife, Maria, he remained in close contact with her.  Mario is survived by his former wife, Maria, along with two sons, Mario Jr. and Michael, and one daughter, Priscilla.  Mario also has five brothers, three of whom are still living, and two sisters.  Mario has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren along with many nephews and nieces.
