The family of Joshua Mai-Reynoza has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders on the occasion of their hero's Final Military Honors. We are honored to do so.
Joshua attended Saugus High School and he and his family witnessed and were impressed by the PGR Mission and honors given USAF Major Stephen Del Bagno (also a Saugus High School graduate) three years ago.
That same year Joshua graduated and enlisted in the Army National Guard. He served from September 2018 until his passing on March 25, 2021.
Our hero had been a Boy Scout and enjoyed fishing and video games. Joshua passed while on a visit to his girlfriend, an active duty Army soldier currently serving in Georgia.
Our hero is survived by his parents, Juan Reynoza and Miriam Mai. Sisters Roxanne Mai, Kimberly Mai-Reynoza, Melissa Mai-Reynoza and brother Andrew Mai-Reynoza. Sadly, Joshua is pre-deceased by his sister, Lauren Martinez, passing from Leukemia just a few years ago.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
NOTE: Covid-19 restrictions may still apply. Please have face coverings/masks available, if needed.
