The family of Ralph "Jim" Rosenberg, age 77, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero with an accompany from the funeral home to the cemetery for his services, we will be honored to do so.

Jim Rosenberg served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, he served in Vietnam during the war and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal.  He was always proud of serving and continued throughout his life to be involved in supporting the military.

Civilian History includes a 20 year career as the Commissioner of Parks and Recs in Lake Forest, CA, where Jim updated every park and built a sports center; President of Chamber of Commerce; Big time volunteer for AYSO who coached and became the Area Director; adopted Marine Corps Families at Camp Pendleton, worked with developers in Temecula to create sports parks; volunteered with special needs kids.  Jim was a Christian man, with a great sense of humor who changed people’s lives.

The City of Lake Forest, in an article mourning the loss of Mr. Rosenberg, had this to say about him: "The greatest thing about Lake Forest is the amazing people and passionate volunteers – and Jim Rosenberg is the best example of that," Mayor Scott Voigts said. "Jim was always passionate about the City and Community Services and brought that enthusiasm to every project, every event. Lake Forest is a better City because of him and he will truly be missed."

Jim is survived by his wife Diane, son Jason, daughters Kristene and Heather and 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
