The family of Sgt Maj Bobby Clark III, age 49, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the funeral home in Fallbrook to Ontario International Airport as he travels home to his family in North Carolina. We are very honored to do so.
Sergeant Major Clark was serving with the Wounded Warrior Battalion West at Camp Pendleton at the time of his passing. He had served most of his adult life in the Corps and was a very proud Marine. He had a chest full of awards and ribbons earned over his many years in the Corps and served in several conflicts, most recently the Global War On Terror. His last several years was spent serving as Sgt Major of 1st Recruit Training Battalion at MCRD, San Diego, prior to reporting to the WWB.
Sgt Maj Clark is survived by his wife and many other family, friends, and his fellow Marines. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
