The Firefighters Association has requested a Pony Express accompaniment for a 9/11 Memorial Truck that holds some remains of the Twin Towers building.  These are to be taken to the Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri by pony express from state to state.  It will be our privilege to begin this journey by an accompany of the first leg from So California to Arizona.

These remains of a portion of the Twin Towers are considered sacred relics since the attack on 9/11.  Also included are items from the Pentagon and the flight 93 crash site.  They are going to rest at the Fire Fighter Museum in Jefferson City Missouri.

This journey is being done in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001, and also to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of that dreaded day.

We will be leaving San Diego with the truck and handing off to our PGR brothers and sisters in Arizona.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in doing this accompany. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying a 9/11 Memorial Truck. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. Please feel free to join at any scheduled stop.

Note:  Temperatures will be in the 100+ degrees in Imperial Valley and Yuma.  Please bring water.
