We have been invited by the family of Dale Omar Huseboe to be present as he receives his military honors. We are privileged to do so.
Dale graduated from Long Beach Poly High School then entered Long Beach Junior College. He was accepted at University of California, Berkeley, and went on to graduate and receive his credentials and license in dentistry. From there he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a dentist, discharging with the rank of Captain.
Dale first began his career in dentistry in Long Beach, then in Anaheim, and in 1963 opened his private practice in Corona, specializing in pediatric dentistry. He was known for his gentle, comforting demeanor with his young patients. He retired from his practice in1998.
Dale was active in community service. He was a member of the Corona Chapter of Kiwanis International for over 45 years, serving as President as well as two terms as Lieutenant Governor of the Southern California/Nevada/Hawaii Region. He was also a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster to Troop 34.
As a volunteer, Dale served the community by administering flu shots and providing dental care to underprivileged children. He was once bestowed the honor of Volunteer of The Year of Riverside County. He made an immeasurable positive impact on the lives of so many during his life.
He loved leisurely activities and traveling; car rallies; motorcycling; camping; hiking; and especially crisscrossing our nation in RVs. He and Barbara literally wore out three RVs in their many trips. He collected small souvenirs from every location and loved to know the story and history of places. He was forever curious, wanting to know how things worked and the intricacies of processes.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 45 years, Barbara; daughters Lynn and Ann; son Scott; stepdaughters Linda and Brenda; and stepson Dan. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
