Homes For Our Troops (HFOT), a non-profit organization. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Key Turning Ceremony for two US Marines, 1Sgt Ben Holmes and Cpl Kionte Storey, Wounded Warriors, in Escondido, CA and we are honored to do so.

This is a double Key Turning Ceremony as homes for each of these Heroes have been built by HFOT next door to each other.

1st Sgt Ben Holmes lost a leg in the Global War on Terror, he, his wife and 3 children will be present to accept the keys to their new home.  More about 1Sgt Holmes:  https://www.hfotusa.org/building-homes/veterans/holmes/

Cpl Kionte Storey also lost a leg in the GWOT, he and his service dog Koja will be present to accept the keys to their new home.  More about Cpl Storey:  https://www.hfotusa.org/building-homes/veterans/storey/

The Patriot Guard Riders will meet and brief at the initial staging area for the procession. If you wish to participate and meet our Heroes, they are expected to meet us at our staging site and we can shake their hands and learn how they are doing. We will then proceed to the home sites. We are very excited to be there for this.
