The family of Justin L. Watson, age 37, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him at his final resting place when he receives his Military Honors.  We are privileged to do so.

Justin Watson enlisted in the US Marine Corps on Nov 4, 2002 right out of High School.  During his time in the Corps he served in both Iraq and Afghanistan on combat deployments.  He received many, many awards and medals for his service among them, Navy & Marine Corps Meritorious Unit award, Certificate of Commendation (individual), Navy Unit Commendation, Iraq Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, NATO Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and was honorably discharged on July 26, 2011 at the rank of Sergeant.

After his military service, Justin spent last ten plus years working in Iraq as a protective security specialist for the State Department. Justin was a sports advocate in his free time and had a call sign of “Raider,” his favorite football team.

He left behind his Fiancée(Carla Johnson) and 1year old daughter(Jamie Watson), and many other family members and friends that will dearly miss him.  He will not be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.
