The family of SPC Joshua A. Aguirre, 25, and the California Army National Guard, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him with an accompany to his final resting place.  We will be honored to do so.

SPC Joshua Aguirre was serving with the California Army National Guard as part of Co. C, 1-160th Infantry at the time of his untimely passing.  His commanding officer had this to say "As many of you maybe aware we experienced the tragic loss of another of our young Blackjack Soldiers who was assigned to Co. C.  SPC Joshua Aguirre recently came to Co C via prior service in the US Marine Corps and was scheduled to deploy with the 185th Infantry to Poland. SPC Aguirre was a valued member of our team and recently returned from supporting the Wildfire deployment. He was another proud young patriot who really looked forward to deployment and continuing his service with the CA ARNG."

SPC Aguirre is survived by many family members, friends, Marine brothers and fellow Soldiers, he will not be forgotten.
