Julian Ramirez, 95, USAAC, WWII, San Dimas/Pomona - 08NOV21
« on: November 06, 2021, 05:43:52 AM »
The family of Staff Sergeant Julian Ramirez, a WWII United States Army Air Corps veteran, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his service, at a church in San Dimas, with an accompaniment to his final resting place in Pomona. We would be honored to do so.

Julian, was 95 years old and sadly passed away recently just shy of his 96th birthday.

Julian served this nation in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII and saw combat as a Waist Gunner (side/door gunner) on a B-17 to and from the bombing of Germany. He flew several missions during his time in combat. (More detail, will be discussed at the mission briefing).

Post war Julian was a wood worker, and a truck driver. (More detail will be discussed at the mission briefing).

Julian married his high school sweetheart Eleanor and they had been together for 80 years until she sadly passed away just two months before his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by their son, two daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
