The Patriot Guard has been asked to attend the celebration of life for James R Old and we are proud to be able to honor this American hero.
James R. Old proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967. He began his military career as a draftee and was promoted to Corporal in the Field Artillery where he held the position of Field Artillery Gunner. During his service in Vietnam, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
After leaving the service, he worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft building the DC-9 and some related military projects.
James was an avid motorcyclist and spent many hours riding and working on his Harleys. He also loved to fish and shoot.
James is survived by his wife, Debi; brother Michael; sisters Pegi Stubblefield and Jackie Old; his children Jamie Conklin, Jody Dudley and Kim Perkins. In addition he had six grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
