We have lost another PGR Sister, one of our own, Linda L. Vlasic, the constant companion, for the last 31 years, of our leader Craig "Gunny" Donor.  Gunny has generously offered to allow us to honor his beloved Linda with a Pony Express to bring her ashes back to So California from Las Vegas where she passed away.  We are so very grateful to do this.

Linda Vlasic was an amazing woman, an accomplished woman who founded and owned a very successful delivery/logistics company for many many years. She was very driven to make sure her clients got the best and they always did as a result of her leadership and organizational skills.

In 2006 Linda joined the Patriot Guard Riders along with her partner in life, Craig, and as he had supported her with her business endeavors, she supported Craig, better known to us as "Gunny", in his efforts and growth in the PGR.  She attended many missions and supported Gunny as he rose through the ranks of the PGR from Ride Captain, to Assistant State Captain of So California and finally to State Captain of all of California.

Linda and Gunny also lived life fully, loving to travel and do fun things.  One of their favorite things has always been going to Disneyland in So Cal and Disney World in Florida.  She was also a great sounding board for Craig, always sharing a different perspective just when he needed it most. Gunny is a tough retired Marine Gunny Sergeant, but Linda was his redhead who could hold her own with him, a perfect match.

Linda is survived by Craig "Gunny" Donor, her constant companion of 31 years, her Son John, Daughters Anastasia and Jo Jo, Grand Sons Atticus and Ezekiel, and Grand Daughters Madison, Samantha, and Carley.  Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her, her family, her friends and her PGR family.  She blessed the lives of all who knew her and will never be forgotten.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this PGR Member. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying Gunny along with Linda's ashes from Las Vegas to Ontario, a distance of approx 220 miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. Feel free to join the procession at any of the stops. For those who would rather go directly to the final stop in Ontario, please arrive at approx 1600 hrs and form a Flag Line as the procession arrives. (Please appoint someone to call the Ride Captain so he can advise arrival time)

NOTE: Please observe the latest COVID restrictions and have a face covering/mask, if necessary.
