The family of Ricardo Vidal Villalobo Brito, 62, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders accompany and honor their loved one at his Celebration of Life. It will be our honor to do so.
Ricardo proudly served in the US Army from 08/11/1981 until 08/10/1985, when he was honorably discharged. Ricardo achieved the rank of SP4(E4), as a Fixed Ciphony Repairer/Communications/Electronics Installer, serving in Korea and at Ft Huachuca, AZ. During his time on active duty, Ricardo received the following military awards: Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon - Korea, Army Service Ribbon, and the M16 Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
After Ricardo left the Army, he worked as an Electronic Technician and a Construction Superintendent during his civilian career, a career that his experience in the military helped him achieve.
Ricardo's hobbies included Fishing, Shooting, Travel, Jeeps, and Hiking, he loved the outdoors.
Ricardo is survived by his wife, Donna Brito, brothers Larry Lara & Joe Brito, sisters Patti Nelson, Maggie Claman & Jan Grunke, and 21 nieces and nephews.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the family home to the church. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.
