The family of Toshio Horiuchi has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in a final farewell to their hero. We are honored to fulfill this request.
Toshio enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on 06 July 1964 and was honorably discharged in June 1968 achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5). Our hero served two tours in Vietnam. It is unclear regarding his MOS or what he did in country as he did not talk about it with anyone.
As a civilian, our hero owned and operated his own landscaping company for 45 years, specializing in sprinkler systems and sprinkler clock repair. He loved riding his motorcycle, spending time with family and friends and giving people a hard time. The family will be coming from Palm Springs and his daughter will be carrying his cremains in her motorcycle.
Toshio is survived by his loving wife, Judi, of 54 years. He is also survived by three children, Suzanne, Marie, and Kristy; six grandchildren; and five siblings.
