Part 2 of 2 Parts

The family of Sergeant Christopher M. Bracks, age 44, and the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor this Hero as he receives his final honors.  We will be honored to do so.

SGT Christopher "Chris" Bracks had been with the Los Angeles Sheriffs Dept since April of 2006, after previously serving in the US Marine Corps.

SGT Bracks was a highly organized, accomplished, take-charge law enforcement professional with 16 years of experience. He possessed strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to develop and implement effective action plans. He had a reputation for strong work ethic and devotion to service. He was a proven leader with the ability to deliver results in high-pressure situations. Able to manage, supervise, evaluate and motivate others.

He was a man of a lifetime of service, service to his country in the Marine Corps and service to his community in Law Enforcement.

In his off time Chris loved cycling, competing in bike events and for pleasure.  He also loved fishing, deep sea and fresh water. Chris was also a man who was constantly bettering himself, he went back to college and obtained his Masters Degree in Business Administration from USC, graduating in 2020, while continuing to work full-time as a Sheriff.

SGT Bracks is survived by his wife and many other family members, his Sheriffs Dept family, and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all and never forgotten.

Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Law Enforcement Officer and Military Veteran.
