The family of Cody Dane Ryan, age 32, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero by accompanying him from the mortuary to the airport as he is sent home to his family in Ohio for burial. We will be honored to do so.
Cody Ryan grew up in Newark, Ohio and shortly after High School he enlisted in the US Marine Corps in January, 2009. He excelled at everything he did and was selected for the elite group of Marines known as MARSOC, Marine Special Forces. He served all over the world, in SE Asia and in Iraq during the Global War On Terror (GWOT). He was honorably discharged in January, 2022 after 13 years of service.
Cody loved playing poker, especially Texas Hold Em, he was an avid golfer, he loved riding his motorcycle, but his favorite thing was spending time with his family, especially his little 4 year old son Paxton. Cody had a magnetic personality without even trying, people were drawn to him and he was the best story teller ever. He was a great guy that everyone could and did depend on.
Cody was sadly taken from this world in a motorcycle accident in the San Diego area and is going home to Ohio to be buried near his family.
Cody is survived by his Son Paxton, his Mother and Father, 3 Siblings and many other family members, friends, and his Marine brothers. He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten.
