The family of Police Officer John Joseph Dombrowski Jr., and the Hemet Police Department invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral services. It is with honor we do so.

The Hemet Police Department mourns the loss of Officer John Dombrowski, a nine-year veteran of the Hemet Police Department, who passed away peacefully at his home June 28, 2022.

John Joseph Dombrowski Jr was born in Anaheim, CA. on August 18, 1982 to John & Sherina Dombrowski.

John was hired as a Police Officer Trainee in April 2013 and was reclassified and sworn in as a
Police Officer upon graduation from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Training Academy in
October later that year. During his time with the Hemet Police Department, he worked Patrol, and was later assigned as a School Resource Officer in 2017 where he impacted the lives of hundreds of students before returning to Patrol in 2019.

His Captain said “Officer Dombrowski served the City of Hemet and its residents with class, honor, and dignity. He will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters in blue here at the Hemet Police Department.”

John Dombrowski is survived by his wife, Valerie, two children son Nicholas and daughter Brooklyn Dombrowski, sister Kimberly Cruz, her 3 children, Nathan, Noah, Natalya, brother Joe and his wife Catherine and their 3 children, Jakob, Madisyn and Jaidyn.
