Porfirio S. Landa, 97, US Army, WWII, Ontario/RNC - 4 AUG
« on: July 29, 2022, 10:31:59 PM »
The family of Porfirio S. Landa has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their hero’s final farewell. We are honored to fulfill this request.

Our hero enlisted in the US Army at the tail end of WWII. He served from April 1945 and was honorably discharged in July 1945 at the rank of Private.

As a civilian, Porfirio worked in the metal polishing industry.

Our hero’s wife, Ernestine, his twin brother and other siblings have preceded him in death. He leaves behind 13 children: Teresa, Porfirio Jr., Beatriz, Cesar, Adan, Raymond, Graciela, George, Guadalupe, Lydia, Jaime, Angelica and Benjamin. He also leaves behind 29 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the church to the cemetery, approx 27 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
