The family of SFC William P. Kesler, age 49, and the US Army, have invited the PGR to accompany this Hero from the mortuary to the airport as he travels home to his family in Nevada. We are honored to do so.
SFC William Kesler was serving as a ROTC commander at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA at the time of his passing. He had been in the US Army for many years with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was well respected by all those who knew him, both above and below him in rank.
A friend is quoted in saying "He was good man, Great father, husband & My Best friend. He was smart & Happy & loved his family & friends. He would do any thing for any one . We worked together for many years & he was joy to work with. He maybe is gone but he never be forgotten. Just a nice Man. Just a pleasure to have as a friend."
Bill, as he was known to family and friends, is survived by his wife and children and many other family members, friends and fellow Soldiers. He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
