We have been invited by the family of Kim Emmerling, 66, to attend the military honors of their loved one. It is our privilege to fill this request.
Kim served in the US Army from 7-29-1975 to 8-5-1977, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Private First Class. During her military time she became a Medical Specialist on 1 July 1976, and to further her career was then classified as a Clinical Specialist on 3 September 1977.
After being discharged from military service Kim became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), progressing up the ladder as Staff Developer to Charge Nurse and then as Director of Nursing.
Kim loved being on her motorcycle both on and off road, she also became a member of Bikers for Christ. Loved also to go horseback riding. Also, she had a passion working with church ministries, feeding the homeless.
