Please join the Gold Star Memorial dedication at Riverside National Cemetery (RNC) Amphitheater on 28 January 2023.

The title, Gold Star Family, is reserved for families of military members who have died in the line of duty, is meant to honor the service member’s ultimate sacrifice while acknowledging their family’s loss, grief and continued healing. Gold Star Family members and relatives are those who have sacrificed a Loved One for our Freedom.

The Gold Star Family Memorial was created by Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel “Woody" Williams to remember those families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Many of the Gold Star Families that the Patriot Guard Riders has Honored will be in attendance.

The Patriot Guard has been invited to attend the dedication and to help guide Gold Star Families to their parking and seating areas.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these American Heroes.

Time table for Saturday, 28 January 2023:

Dream like you will live forever.
Live like there is no tomorrow.
When the world calls 911
The American Military answers the call.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
