The family of Miguel Moreno (94) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany him on his final journey. It is our honor to do so.

Miguel served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He earned the Army Occupation Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal with 2BZ stars and Good Conduct.

Prior to his enlisting in the Army Miguel worked on farms and in the vineyards with a goal of becoming a Heavy Duty Mechanic. He achieved that goal after completing his Military Service, working at Kaiser Steel as a heavy Duty Mechanic for 29 years. He was married to Isabel Robles for 50 years until her passing.

Miguel is survived by a large family. His brother Richard Moreno. He is also survived by his children, sons Mike, Robert and daughter Yvonne. Along with 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great children. Miguel was a great Father, Grand Father, Great Granddad and Great-Great Granddad.

Note: You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there, by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

1230 - Mission Briefing

1245 - Flag Line for dignified transfer to coach

1340 - ETA Riverside National Cemetery

1430 - KSU to assigned shelter for Flag Line and Military Honors.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
